At Hilton-Ames, we’re excited to announce the launch of our latest initiative, the Funder Games, an exciting, competitive series of sporting events aimed at raising much-needed funds for Hospiscare. The real winner of the Funder Games will be Hospiscare, as the money raised will support their incredible work in the community.

Nine Thrilling Events to Take Part In
The Funder Games will run from May through September, with nine different sporting events to participate in. The events will be mixed gender, so men and women will be competing alongside each other, making it a great opportunity to bring together colleagues for some fun and healthy competition.

- Dodgeball
- Table Tennis
- Football
- Pickleball
- Hockey
- Rounders
- Badminton
- Tenpin Bowling
- Volleyball
These events promise to be thrilling, fun-filled experiences for all participants. And the best part? It’s all for a great cause!
How It Works
We’re looking for 20+ businesses to take part in the Funder Games, and spots are filling up fast.
You don’t need to commit to all nine events – enter as many as you want, but only your best six events will count towards your league position. This gives businesses the flexibility to participate in the events that suit them best, without the pressure of having to be involved in every single one.
Get the Support You Need
If you’re worried about fielding a full team for every event, don’t stress! The University of Exeter Careers Zone has kindly offered to help by providing a pool of students who can fill in the gaps. So, if you’re a player or two short, you can rely on their support to make sure your team is up and running.
You can even rally your family and friends to join in – the more the merrier! The aim is to bring people together from all walks of life to create a vibrant, inclusive community event.
